Hidden
What happens during my first chiropractic appointment?
Your first visit usually includes a review of your health history, a discussion of your symptoms or concerns and goals, a physical exam, and, if appropriate, recommendations for a personalized treatment plan.
Do I need a referral to see a chiropractor?
In most cases, no referral is needed to schedule an appointment. However, requirements may vary depending on your insurance, so please contact us to sort out the details prior to your first appointment.
What should I wear to my chiropractor appointment?
We suggest wearing comfortable clothing that allows you to move easily and freely. If needed, we will provide specific instructions on appropriate attire prior to your appointment.
What conditions can a chiropractor help treat?
Our team commonly helps address back pain, neck pain, knee pain, headaches, sciatica, joint discomfort, sports injuries, posture-related concerns, and other musculoskeletal conditions that impact mobility and daily comfort. If you have questions about a specific concern, please do not hesitate to contact us to see if it is something we may be able to help with.
Do chiropractic adjustments hurt?
Most patients will experience little to no discomfort during their adjustment. Some people may notice mild soreness afterward, similar to what you might expect after an intense workout, but this is typically short-lived and resolves on its own quickly.
What are the benefits of ongoing chiropractic care?
Many of our patients choose ongoing chiropractic care to support spinal health, improve mobility, manage recurring discomfort, promote better posture, and maintain an active lifestyle. We will discuss whether ongoing care would be a good fit for your goals or if they may be achieved in a set number of appointments. We carefully monitor patient progress and will adjust your treatment plan as needed.
