Our practice consists of two chiropractors, Dr. Victor M. Lasa and Dr. Suanette Y. Torres. This husband-and-wife duo is a wonderful team inside and out of the office. Dr. Lasa has been in practice over 20 years. Born in San Juan, Puerto Rico, he did his undergraduate studies at the University of Puerto Rico in Bayamon and his doctorate degree at Cleveland Chiropractic College in Kansas City. Dr. Lasa has been trained at the San Diego Spinal Research Institute in whiplash and brain injury traumatology. He currently lives in Sanford, Florida with his wife, Dr. Torres, and their daughters, Valentina and Paulina. Their practice focuses on auto injury, wellness, sciatica, sports chiropractic, and weight loss.
We wanted to create a medical injury center that would focus on long-term results by getting to the very cause of your pain, instead of just masking symptoms with medication, as is typical in conventional medicine. We put the focus on improving overall health, not just treating the symptoms. We feel that most people would rather avoid illness in the first place, and we know this is one of the reasons we have seen a big surge in the popularity of our wellness center.

Meet the Team
Dr. Ivan D. Nieves (Chickasaw Trail Office)
Originally from Hatillo, Puerto Rico, Dr. Nieves earned his bachelor’s degree in microbiology from the University of Puerto Rico in Arecibo in 2004. He continued his education at Palmer College of Chiropractic Florida in Port Orange, where he pursued his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from 2006 to 2009, graduating in June 2009.
Dr. Nieves brings extensive experience in interventional pain management, personal injury care, sports medicine, and family chiropractic. In addition, he expanded his expertise by completing training in electrodiagnostics in 2015.
He resides in Deland, Florida, with his wife and two children, dedicated to both his professional practice and his family life.
Dr. Victor Lasa, D.C. (Sanford Office)
Born in San Juan, Puerto Rico, Dr. Lasa is fluent in Spanish, English, and sign language. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Human Biology from the University of Puerto Rico in Bayamón, before completing his Doctor of Chiropractic degree at Cleveland Chiropractic College in Kansas City, Missouri in 2005. With a strong foundation in neurological health, Dr. Lasa holds advanced training in brain injury and trauma through the Spine Research Institute of San Diego. His professional journey began as a chiropractic assistant at Fulk Chiropractic in Kansas, followed by an associate role at Mauricio Chiropractic in Orlando. Since 2009, he has been the proud owner and lead chiropractor at Encompass Chiropractic Center in Sanford and Orlando, Florida. Dr. Lasa is a member of the Florida Chiropractic Association, Florida Chiropractic Society, and the American Chiropractic Association, and he proudly served as the official chiropractor for Orlando City Soccer in 2013. His compassionate, patient-centered approach reflects his deep commitment to improving lives through expert chiropractic care.
